The first place we went to visit when we got to Japan was Elephant Kingdom in Ichihara.
I remember watching a Japanese movie called Shining Boy & Little Randy. This movie is based on a real story about a boy called Tetsumu who realised he has a natural talent of communicating with elephants. He then went to Thailand to train to be a mahouts and later becoming Japan’s first elephant trainer. The main Elephant, Randy, lived at the Elephant Kingdom.
The elephant show was very entertaining and you get to get close and touch the elephants. It was especially amazing to see the elephant paint a picture of elephants!
