I’ve always wanted a small wallet that carries only the essentials. But when you live in Japan you are bombarded by so many shop loyalty cards. Here is a photo to give you an idea of a few of the cards we have collected.
Recently I’ve given up on collecting points from each store since it is a waste of space in my wallet and not worth it (you earn about 1% of your purchase). So to avoid carrying too many things I decided to make a minimalist leather wallet.
I made this wallet with 3 card slots. One for cards, the other for cash and the last one for my house key.
I’m very happy with how it turned out and I especially love the canary yellow leather that I used. This time I used a gold screwback button stud to hold the flap down. It was very easy to put on and I think it adds to the minimal look.
