After living in New Zealand for 16 years, my husband and I decided to pack everything up and move to Japan. This was a big move for me because I have never actually lived in Japan. Living in Japan has always been a dream of mine and I am very excited I get to make this come true.
My husband and I are both Japanese by ethnicity but since we grew up overseas we are both very foreign on the inside. I think and act like a Fijian/NZ person and my husband as a Canadian person. We realised living in Japan we will be a very big challenge for us.
Goodbye Aotearoa for now! Thanks for the wonderful nature, university degree, friends that are like family and most of all for my husband, Ka kite.
